It was three years ago this month, that I decided to attend an Ed Heaton Photography (www.edheaton.com) workshop in the Grand Teton Mountains. Since then, my life has changed in many ways. I am loving it! There is nothing more rewarding than becoming a mother and watching your son discover this world for the first time. I love watching his face, when he has discovered something new, or when he laughs.
I am really looking forward to having many adventures, including sharing the Tetons with him. He is independent and curious of the world around him. I think he’s the prefect travel companion. I find myself saying “never lose your sense of wonder” to him. I have a feeling he might be the adventurous outdoor type like his parents.
Please remember that when you are traveling to have zero impact and leave no trace. Do not cross the line, and walk into protected areas, pick up your trash, and encourage others to do the same. We want our future generations to be able to see the wonderful natural beauty of this planet.
This image was taken on June 15, 2015. We saw the storm clouds moving in, and we decided to pull of to the side of the road to take a few images. It was not long before we were in the middle of nasty storm. I had to move fast to capture this image. It was worth standing out in the rain for.
