Time Well Spent
Today I spent a few hours talking with my friend Kim. Actually talking, no cell phones, no interruptions from text message, or technology of any kind. We allowed ourselves to be present in the moment and enjoy the company and conversation. I walked away feeling refreshed and blessed that I have such amazing friends. You might wonder what can two people talk about for 4 hours. Its life! Life is an amazing journey. It’s pretty cool, when you get a chance to share our ex

A Promisse
Photography is about telling stories through images, which others can connect with. This does not happen by chance. (Ok for some maybe, but not for me.) It takes planning, understanading the elements and most important how to use my camera to capture what I want to say. When I am behind the camera, I feel like I am just starting to learn how to tell a story. I have made a promise to myself to never get discourage, if an image has not turned how how I wanted it to. The Path
Sometimes the path in front of you can have curves and takes you to place you did not know existed. But that path can also take you to the place you never knew you need to go. I find paths to be very symbolic. They provided gentle reminder to me that there is a path planned for me. I am also reminded that I never really know what is ahead of me, because I can't see around corners. It keeps me excited, but also makes me nervous, as I'm a person who likes to plan. I had a phot

Regular Days

Like smiling at a strange, giving a hug to someone who needs it or letting some one in front of you while stuck in traffic. This conversation has really got me thinking about how I interact with others, specially strangers. You just don’t know the type of day a person is having, so if you can have impact someone's life, why

With a smile
While looking through photos, I came across this one from the spring time. It was taken while on a hunt for wild flowers, but we found none. We were two weeks too early, but early birds gets the worm, right? We might not have found the flowers, but was able to scope out some cool locations, had fun, and had some great BBQ. This photos gave me a gentle reminders, that I'd like to share with you. When you look back at your life, doing it with a smile. For it is all a memory no

A Texas Size Sunrise
This Saturday morning, the sunrise was epic. It was one of the best I’ve seen in Texas. As the sun continued to rise and the sky became alive, I looked up and said “Thank you Jesus!” I knew that this sunrise was a blessing. I was lucky to enjoy the sunrise with my awesome friend Malinda. (Thank you for the breakfast taco!) This image is for her. My brave, powerful, kind and an amazing friend. Continue to work hard and stay focused on your dreams. They will come true, if
